In the event of a disagreement\, common law\, case law\, civil law\, contract law\, and appropriate legislation controlling distress and the eviction procedure are used. \nHowever\, many parties have raised several contentions to the proposed Residential Tenancy Act (RTA). One of the major issues is the appointment of a Comptroller of Residential Tenancies\, who will be authorized to manage security deposits on behalf of a neutral body.
