Workshop Overview

The workshop covers all the main areas of stratified properties – from the laws affecting strata titles properties, developers’ obligations, purchasers’ obligations, strata ownership as well as many administrative matters property developers must do in order to ensure smooth management and handover of their stratified properties. Possible problems in managing and administering arising from will also be covered in the workshop.

The course will cover the following modules over a two days period:

• STRATA LAWS: Understand the laws affecting strata title properties & learning from a qualified legal practitioner whose expertise is in property laws
• STRATA OWNERSHIP: Know what it means to purchase or own a strata property including the rights and obligations of the parcel owner(s)
• SHARE UNIT COMPUTATION: Learn & understand the all-important computation of share units in SiFUS and Schedule of Parcels.
• DEVELOPERS OBLIGATIONS: with regards to managing strata properties during the various stages of property or strata title handover
• STRATA MANAGEMENT: including the various parties in-charge if managing the stratified properties with associated problems and remedies
