As of 2014, all Real Estate Negotiators (RENS) must be registered with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents & Property Mangers (BOVAEP) to legally conduct real estate transaction and they will be issued with a Real Estate Negotiator Authority Tag.

To be registered, individuals are required to attend 2-days Negotiator Certification Course conducted by approved training centers nationwide.

The course will cover the following modules:

• The Act & The Rules
• The Malaysian Estate Agency Standards
• Real Estate Practice – Profession or Business
• IT in Real Estate/Banking
• Real Estate Forms, Title, Tenancies & SPA
• Law Relating To Estate Agency Transaction
